David Cooke has the unique skillset of being an internationally qualified Urban Designer, a registered Architect and an accredited Planner. In 2014 David was awarded a prestigious scholarship to attend the University of California, Berkeley in their intensive Masters of Urban Design program. Upon returning to Australia, as Director of design and architecture studio City Collective, David is now applying this knowledge and experienced gained in California to address the urban renewal challenges that face Australian cities.David has been a board member of the Rundle Mall Management Authority since 2012, a panel member of the City of Prospect’s Development Assessment Panel since 2011, recently being elected Presiding Member and appointed to the Inner Metropolitan Development Assessment Committee. He also holds the position of chair for the Fleurieu Regional Aquatic Centre Authority and the not for profit advocacy group Mainstreet SA.
