About David Cooley

I have a creative background with extensive experience in web and interaction design, research and user testing. Most of my career has focused on improving usability to deliver significant business value.My education provided a strong foundation for understanding how to balance business objectives with consumer needs and served as a primer for many aspects of user experience, including market research, personas, metrics, analytics and iterative design. Since 1992, I have worked with some absolutely brilliant people and helped solve many challenging problems. I strive to learn from each project and apply lessons to future work. In short, I believe in the power of user research to inform design and build simple and satisfying customer experiences.I have led and collaborated on a wide range of successful projects, from small business applications to enterprise-scale e-commerce and engineering tools, both on-site and in partnership with distributed virtual teams.I am proficient in a wide range of software and continually engage in online learning and research in the areas of interactive media, mobile application development and user-centered design.
