Developed the technical design, managed the contracting/purchasing efforts, and oversaw the deployment of; structured cabling, LAN, WAN, wireless, Data Center, IP telephony, and UPS/HVAC systems. • Managed the Nissan Data Center facility; including critical systems, physical security, vendors, contractors, and suppliers. Completed critical system upgrades, working toward a cost effective Tier 3 Data Center environment. Implemented best practices, deployment standards, and a DCIM product.• Reduced vendor costs and increased vendor productivity, applying strict scrutiny to agreements.• Accelerated Data Center lease re-negotiations resulting in a fifteen percent annual savings. Reduced electrical costs by $100,000 in 2016 and again in 2017. • Completed critical and time sensitive technology infrastructure build-outs at Nissan North America facilities, meeting all deadlines. Determined customer requirements; developed RFQs; negotiated with and selected vendors; supported purchasing efforts; managed budgets; and while onsite ensured that the contracted for services were delivered.
