    Now Joined Argos as Fast Track Driver. This is a very varied role in picking and packing of ordered items for same day delivery. Enjoy the driving side of the role and meeting the customers seeing the smiling face and quite often the dis belief that they only ordered a couple of hours ago and it is at there home, delivered with a smile from a friendly face. A great team and all drivers help each other out with loading and knowledge.Downside is the electronic delivery device that only allows 3 minutes to make the delivery and takes no account that you are delivering sometimes several flat pack boxes to a block of flats with no lift. And minimal working hours contract.

The vehicles and cards are producing business with collection and delivery of motorbikes from individuals and internet auction sellers to many parts of the UK and occasional trips to the continent with vintage and classic motorcycles.The trial period is set to be for a minimum of 12 months to 36 months on a part time basis, with a full review to ascertain it's future. Volume of work and profitability will determine if to remain small and part time or invest further.The growth of this venture is enough to support the drivers and vans, and we mutually have parted company leaving the drivers to manage future development at this time. The venture would take 5 to 10 years to become large enough and financially independent to support an administrative position paying a salary. Without taking on the financial burden of taking on loans to grow the business and therefore take a risk.The original vehicles have had the livery removed, and only private work is continued to be undertaken with car's and trailers on a very limited part time basis.

This facilitated greater customer retention, and helped with the resolution of problems, including over committed or short term financial problems, even the option to extend the help using a different product solution, The agent not turning up this could be a problem 2 fold, missed collection affects credit score, or the agent has had an incident, therefore quick liaison with agent could resolve either way.Using listening skills to determine genuine needs of customer, always being polite and to never belittle the customer. This keeps customer retention and helped with the 6500 customer count in branch. Negotiate with customers in difficulty or arrears, a payment plan that was affordable and within company guidelines or allowance / discretion, either at the home, office or over the telephone. Or different product could alleviate the problem completely, a win win situation.

    This was a great experience, to be involved with a club, that helps develop children from early years, through Tag Rugby, through to full adult rugby. It is / was fantastic to see young people fully develop in front of you. Gaining fitness from the training and game to see very talented players get selected for higher programmes, and to witness the personal development into fine young men. I am sure several will go on to be business people of the future. And to receive official recognition from the R.F.U for the hours and support,was a complete surprise and a very heart warming moment.Involved with the planning and risk assessment of U.K and European tours for a squad of under 18's players, Paying from funds raised for food, medical and travel, and accounting back to head coach, Controlling of funds until squad reached and held the final under 18's annual dinner.
