Patrol assigned area of responsibilty as a deterrent to criminal activity enforcing both traffic and criminal law. Answer calls for assistance from stranded motorists, investigate traffic crashes in my patrol area. I am responsible for investigating criminal acts and affecting an arrest on subject(s) once the investigation is completed. This includes preparing a detailed written report for local prosecutors, collecting physical evidence and submiting to DPS Crime lab for analysis and storage. I also testify in court on all cases that are brought forward for prosecution. My duties also require me to provide for the safety and welfare of all citizens in the case of natural disasters or civil unrest.

I was responsible for arranging transportation needs for all of the students of the nine School Districts that comprised the cooperative. I coordinated with the bus drivers from these districts to get the students to special appoitments and test sites in the Concho Valley. I was responsible for driving the bus locally and taking the students from my area to doctors appointments and home.

Perform routine and major work on jet engines and associated components to maintain a flight ready status at all times. This included working on fuel cells, performing bore scope inspections of first stage turbine blades and compression blades. Remove and replace engine components, change oil, and perform low and high power engine diagnostic tests after an engine was reinstalled in the plane.
