As the Assistant Staff Wellbeing Chaplain of Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, I offered pastoral care and support to over 3,000 members of staff across the hospital. The bulk of this work was divided between one-to-one and team support, through services including one-to-one confidential listening and pastoral reflective sessions, group reflections, wellbeing training and debriefs. The role saw me collaborate with the wider Health & Wellbeing Team, partnering with a mix of specialists including physiotherapists and clinical psychologists, liaising to identify trends amongst the staff and create new service offerings that meet their wellbeing needs. I worked across a wide variety of hospital teams to help create a broad portfolio of services, including peer support groups for staff impacted by Long-Covid, forums for staff returning from working remotely during the pandemic, reflective sessions for staff groups impacted by redeployment and learning sessions for groups wishing to identify changes they would like to take forward beyond the pandemic. I oversaw the communications plan for the Health & Wellbeing Team, organising and championing wellbeing events for all staff members, tying into national campaigns and identifying local opportunities in line with the desires of key stakeholders within the hospital’s management structures. I created a range of print and digital materials for the team, including scripting and filming video resources for our hospital comms channels, designing and delivering information pamphlets and posters, and forming a new monthly wellbeing email for all hospital staff. I oversaw wellbeing projects including a gardening programme with RHS Wisley and the creation of a staff wellbeing choir, whilst managing over 50 volunteer wellbeing ambassadors from amongst the staff, supporting them in creating new initiatives to improve the wellbeing of their peers.

South Kensington

Oversaw the care and developlement of approximately 280 volunteer leaders, responsible for running the small group network of HTB. Role involved pastoral care for all leaders, creation and delivery of training resources, organisation and delivery of events and strategic planning.

Creation of media content for the activities of Holy Trinity Brompton, a church with a congregation of approximately 5,000 in South Kensington, London.
