David is a Partner at Galbraith and Head of Estate Agency for the firm. With responsibility for Sales and Valuation work in his home county of Dumfries and Galloway & Ayrshire. Upon graduating from St Andrews University, he joined Chancellors Estate Agents, Oxford and completed their in-house graduate training course. David was responsible for opening and managing a new lettings office within the city. In 2005 David moved to Carter Jonas Surveyors and Estate Agents, Oxford, where he completed his RICS Assessment of Professional Competency through the College of Estate Management in Reading. During this period he completed a tender for the National Trust to value, market and sell a number of high value listed buildings from the Trusts Portfolio, among other sales and valuation work across Oxfordshire. Returning to his native Scotland in 2010 to work for Galbraith, David was appointed a Partner of the firm In 2019. David’s day to day work is the appraisal and sale of a wide range of property in Dumfries and Galloway. He is a Registered Valuer with the RICS. In 2022 he was appointed Head of Estate Agency for the firm.
