I developed market neutral and market-making trading strategies. I also wrote and maintained connections to the crypto exchanges’ APIs. During my experience at Sixtant I went from not knowing functional programming, to being fluent in Clojure and writing market-making strategies which were widely used in the company.

In my role as co-founder I consulted, lectured, and lead research projects, including astudy for GIZ México (German Cooperation & Development Agency). “Potentials ofBlockchain for Climate Policy in Costa Rica, Brazil and Mexico”, part of the InternationalClimate Initiative (IKI).

Under the supervision of Prof. Greg Dudek, I specialized in mobile robotics, machinelearning and computer vision. Authored two scientific papers in high-impactconferences. Contributed to the design, development and implementation ofFourierTags V2, a fiducial marker system for robot localization. I also developedalgorithms for robot self-localization and mapping, coral reef detection andsegmentation, and specifying robot trajectories using augmented reality.

I participated in a dozen research projects, applying statistical analysis using packagessuch as SPSS and STATA. I advised medical researchers in statistics and taught math and statisticscourses.

Led technology deployment, managed software development, provided technicalsupport and maintained network infrastructure, servers and computer equipment.Implemented collaboration tools, set up a backup solution and developed a simplePHP website to showcase project progress to clients.
