As a Production Supervisor I learned from the very start that you must wear many hats from counselor to leader. I believe in letting my team do their assigned work and not to micromanage them to get the desired results. As a Production Supervisor as well as a Trainer and Manager I learned that people skills are the key to motivating your team. Without people skills you will fail as a leader. With my experience I have learned that being a good leader involves engaging your team. I believe that being engaged with your team gives you credibility with them as a hands on leader. I have over 20 years in the Retail industry as well.. I was in the convenience store/gas industry for over 10 years as a cashier/assistant manager and manager. i was also in the Automotive service industry for 10 years as a salesperson, assistant manager and Service Manager.These are just a few of the qualities I bring to the table.
