Design and detail all manufacturing drawings and work with Engineers to develop complete sets of drawings - both new design and current standard products, through the use of CAD system.Develop and implement new and updated refrigeration system designs from conception through prototyping, and assists in the manufacturing process by troubleshooting and resolving refrigeration engineering problems.Use CAD equipment to create working drawings from notes, sketches, and conversations with assigned Project Engineer/Engineering Specialist including sub-assembly and final assembly drawingsComplete assigned Engineering Change Notices (ECNs); revise and release modified drawings. Update computer system; add parts, assemblies and bills of materials (BOMs). Coordinate with manufacturing engineers on routings. Create and maintain PDF files of final drawings. Research new products. Identify cost reduction and product improvement through Engineering Change Notice (ECN) studies.Reduce manufacturing costs and product assembly. This includes sending drawings out for quote if necessary.Participate in project & design team meetings providing design input and in depth information on product layout. Present design options to help determine project direction.Assist with prototype runs of new products to evaluate if it will insure high quality. May coordinate with Production Control on the prototype drawings.Prepare shop sketches for prototypes keeping in mind agencies such as NSF, UL, ETL, CSA and operation of each department to make parts and assemblies.Work with Engineering and Shop personnel to build prototypes.

Designed, modified, and upgraded Submarine Combat and Electronic Systems. Developed Combat and Electronic Systems Ship Alteration drawings for SSN688 and Seawolf Class Submarines.Prepared detail drawings and sketches as per design proposals and specifications using AutoCad software. Worked alongside many departments within Northrop Grumman Corporation, for research, design problems, and verifying accuracy for developing of preliminary sketches, detail drawings, and schematic diagrams to complete a finish drawing package.

Worked on design of TACMOBILE/JMAST and various other communications equipment. Worked with prototype team designing the layout and drawings of the MRAP antenna layout and associated devices. Kept track of and updated the drawing packages daily with spreadsheets and complete documentation of changes and modifications to each vehicle.
