Director
Stonehenge Homes
A highlight over this time was being directly responsible for over 16 major building awards through the HIA. I worked very closely with Mark Davis, Stonehenge's founder and visionry over this 10 year period.A greater highlight was being directly responsible for the building of the Consul General Residence, in Kobe Japan. I played both project and construction management roles, and in addition, took on the dubious task of managng two households of Aussie subcontractors, living in a different country and culture. This was far more difficult than building a high quality architectural residence in a very foreign country! The job involved 90% Australian building materials and labour, and the shipment and transport of anything from plasterboard, framing timber, structural steel, wiring, plumbing, paint tins etc, from Mlebourne, to one of the highest locations on Mt Rokko, in Kobe.
