Alexander Dawson School is a co-educational K-12 independent school that challenges 450 students to achieve excellence of mind, body, and character through a rigorous college preparatory program. Dawson is Located in Lafayette, Colorado on a beautiful 107 acre campus.Participate as a key member and contributor to the executive team. Oversee the investment portfolio and cash position of Dawson. Prepare board level reports and provide recommendations to board committee members.Manage risk including liability insurance, claims, international trips, and other legal risks.Supervise accounting, payroll, information technology, and food services. Oversee the Summer Camp program working closely with the camp director. Work closely with Dawson Parent Association leadership, coordinate the organization’s financial matters, and advise them on all other relevant issues. Work closely with the Head of School to develop and implement annual and long range budgets and plans. Manage third-party contract for food services, which is responsible for providing a well balanced, nutritional lunch for all 450 students and 100 staff and faculty everyday that school is in session.
