As the Senior Systems Administrator in the organisation it was my role to provide server and desktop to staff at all levels of the organisation. I was responsible for the success design and implementation of 2 major whole office relocations with no unplanned downtime. These relocations also included the design of an entire new corporate data centre including UPS and wiring distribution system for the new facilities. I developed a standard operating environment (SOE) to deploy to all desktops. I used base system Images, comprehensive group policies and scripts to ensure that system replacements were fast and reliable. I designed and developed an Active Directory layout which ensured easy application of group policies to the appropriate organisational groups. I installed and maintained Microsoft Exchange for an Organisation of 300 users. I Installed and Managed a Citrix / Windows Terminal Server environment for a several regional offices, providing full access to the corporate network.
