I have been elected and served on the Boards of CHORUS, STM Association, AAP-PSP Executive Council, and the Society for Scholarly Publishing.Previously I was the Editorial Director for Journals Policy at Oxford University Press where I oversaw policy, technology integration, community relations and other activities across OUP's journals program. Before that, I was a Senior Editor at OUP, acquiring and launching new journals. Managed the relationship with eight research society partners and oversaw publication of 19 science/medical journals.Served as Commissioning Editor for Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Press in book acquisitions.Helped create and served as Editor in Chief for CSH Protocols, an online biology methods journal.Ph. D. Research on developmental regulation of a mouse Hox gene in the laboratory of Debra Wolgemuth at Columbia University. Postdoctoral research on neural development and bioimaging in the laboratory of Scott Fraser at Caltech.
