I was tasked with translating communication between Nintendo of Europe, the Japan headquarters, and related companies on a wide variety of subjects, primarily localisation. I also translated an extensive array of Nintendo-related materials daily, including game trailers, social media initiatives, specification sheets, and sales reports. My work was intimately involved with the video game localisation process, communicating with developers, outsourcing partners and branch offices to set up budgets/deadlines, streamlining communication in areas such as translation, culturalisation, and legal matters, among other tasks.Further, I interpreted at meetings between Nintendo of Europe and both internal and external partners in meetings discussing a wide range of topics in several different fields.

I assisted Hungarian diplomats with their tasks through translating and interpreting between Hungarian, Japanese, and English, as well as working with the Hungarian Economic Attaché in promoting Hungarian economic activities in Japan. I acted as an intermediary between Japanese and Hungarian companies and government officials, receiving high level government and corporate officials at the Embassy as well as facilitating diplomatic visits, business initiatives, and cultural exchanges.

I was tasked with translating government documents, technical manuals, tourist information, and other information regarding the Prefecture from Japanese to English, as well as interpreting for the Governor and other government officials during state events. I was also responsible for writing, editing, and publishing a biweekly tourist brochure in English. Further, I provided training, counseling, and other various assistance to English teachers and translators working for the JET Program USA.
