I became a part owner of Alder Training Ltd following a management buy out that took place in September 2005. In the five years at the Company, my role as Commercial Director involved producing bid proposals, budgets, purchasing, lease and maintenance agreements, property purchase and leases, health and safety officer, human resources and project managing the refurbishment of two properties that we now use for training.

Responsible for ensuring that sub-contractor commitments where possible match the main terms and conditions agreed with the customer. Responsible for the complete day to day commercial administration of all orders received from the territories below.Execution of any negotiations necessary to protect the Company's interests through order acceptance and amendment, contractual commitments and interpretation.Maintenance of order book and provision of sales and order intake data for budgets and forward plans.Responsible for sales tendering and negotiations for all contract opportunities associated with Northern Europe, Mediterranean Rim and the Middle East.
