With over 25 years’ experience of both traditional and stock transfer housing associations, David became the Chief Executive of Warrington Housing Association in 2017. Prior to this he worked as Managing Director of City West Housing Trust (Part of ForViva Group) taking the organisation through a significant period of change, transforming it into a highly successful and well respected organisation. Prior to his time at City West he was a senior manager with Great Places Housing Group where he led on a number of major projects, setting up new housing associations, overseeing stock transfer, mergers and inspections on the way.David has presented at a number of national and regional forums on key issues such as the unintended consequences of welfare reform, health and housing and the future of Housing Association within the context of local government reform.He is a keen adventure runner having recently completed the Polar Ultra Marathon in Greenland. He is also Chair of Ribble Valley Homes and Chair of Unlimited Potential, a non profit social enterprise who champions innovation and social wellbeing.
