St Helens. 2004 to Date• SHEQ; Issuing, monitoring and control of all Permit To Work activities incorporating review of method statements and risk assessments.• Responsible for site inductions and records.• Implementation of local site preventative measures and subsequent action in dealing with emergencies and abnormal conditions taking up the roll of ‘Site Emergency Controller’ in these situations with ultimate decision making responsibilities.• Review daily shift production reports and liaises with Product supply and Operations Support Centre to ensure that optimum efficiency and output is achieved within daily output targets.• Undertaking of Planned General Inspections.• Management of the site Chemical register and ensure that COSHH is complied with. • Management of water treatment process including contractor liaison, boiler treatment, ordering of chemicals and effluent monitoring.• Prepare plant for maintenance and inspection as required by executing physical isolations and electrical isolations up to limit of authorisation (415V)• Operate plant and equipment and provide immediate problem identification and rectification as required.• Commission of new plant and equipment on Hydrogen steam reforming, Nitrogen generator and ASU sites.• Operating experience of Hydrogen Production by Steam Reforming, Nitrogen Generation, ASU’s and Oxygen V.S.A’s and associated equipment.• Good base knowledge and understanding of BOC, industry and statutory standards and codes of practice.
