Currently I am working in the Grocery Business Division of a privately owned Sales and Marketing business. I am responsible for the confectionery division within in the business.Responsible for overall performance for the confectionery brands which we distribute in NZ. The portfolio I manage has grown from approx $5 Million when I started to over $30 million currently.• Analysis and new product development, guided by innovation, new trends, differentiation and market needs. • Control of the P & L reports. Continual analysis of budgets, and sales results and developing sales strategy and market prices to achieve these budgets.• Design and implement budget control.• Develop, design and implement the annual marketing strategy.• Define the budget / annual forecast of the division as well as strategies to address the measurement and achievement of goals. • Developing programs to deliver maximum impact for both seasonal activities as well as everyday sales. • Manage and coordinate all of the international brand principals reporting and managing budgets in tandem with their targets. •Develop projects, both in presentations and POP material, to increase our activation at the point of sale and increase sales. • Responsible for directing the external agencies for the development of artwork, new products, new presentations.• Coordinate the implementation of our marketing and sales mix with the National sales manager and sales team.• Attending international fairs as a visitor, considering new brand and product opportunities as well as initiating negotiations for the acquisition of packaging and innovative and differentiated presentations.
