Responsible for design and installation of an interoperable, multi-jurisdictional wireless mobile public-safety data system. The system consisted of 29 initial 900 Mhz RF sites using Cisco routers and switches, with a variety of Layer 1-2 encapsulations including Ethernet, T1, and frame relay. I was responsible for the firewall architecture and network plan for seven different cities, with different existing security policies and networks. I provided instruction for connection to regional controlled microwave ring for intercity roaming and operation and integrated middleware application that switches between legacy low speed serial mobile data systems and new, WiMAX based system.-Directed all the operations connected with a wireless 900 MHz communications system upgrade from legacy serial connectivity to an IP based platform in Kansas and West Texas for over 2000 oil and gas wells. Performed network analysis and design, coordinated installation teams, and managed schedule and budget in an extremely aggressively priced contract. Project value was $5M
