- Provided assistance to facilitate the setting up of International Diving Assurance Ltd (an insurance company) and DAN Europe Insurance Brokers Ltd in 2008- Processed several diving and non-diving claims lodged by the members of DAN Europe- Prepared and updated a number of end-of-month reports that would be presented during the senior management meetings- Liaised with co-insurers and reinsurers to discuss several claims and to provide the requested information for reporting purposes. This included updating the major claims report whereby claims with a reserve of up to € 1,000,000 were listed.- Was responsible for producing the first drafts of the Procedures Manual relating to DAN Europe Insurance Brokers Ltd- Worked closely with external auditors on a yearly basis in order to explain various operations- Provided training to various staff members of DAN Europe Insurance Brokers Ltd- Was responsible for the processing of several major professional and public liability claims. This role often involved liaising with lawyers from several parts of the world in order to agree on the most appropriate course of action. More specifically, I dealt with lawyers from the UK, Spain, Italy, France, and Israel. - Played a key role in the launch of the new claim forms for IDA Ltd's policyholders. This involved liaising regularly with a number of lawyers from one of Malta's top legal firms to ensure that the forms complied with local as well as European Union regulations.- Corresponded with several clients and staff members in English, Italian, and Spanish - Provided claims broking services to several clients based in Malta (focused mainly on health and commercial claims)
