Actively responsible for a dynamic fast paced fabrication Workshop for Sinostruct Pty Ltd in Tianjin China.My responsibilities covered overseeing up to 10 Chinese National Coating/Insulation Inspectors and reviewing Surface Treatment Reports, issuing Release for Insulation work packs and MDR compiling of all Surface Treatment Reports including Galvanizing reports from Sub Contract HDG and Insulation Sub Contractors. Hands on training of Chinese painting staff with specialised coatings including Inorganic Zinc Silicate's, High Temp Poly Matrix coatings and Thermal Spray Zinc's (TSZ), application of PIR Insulation including Vapour Stops and Trowel on Vapour Barrier's.Work covered Pipe Rack Modules for USA market, Gold Mines, Oil& Gas Well Head Skids, Pressure Vessels, Spooling and Fireproofing.

Conduct surveillance on Coating, Fireproofing and Insulation activities and ensure compliance with Specifications. Oversee, inspect, verify Cementitious and Intumescent Fireproofing. Coordination of Work Packs. Provide technical support to Cryogenic Insulation including Cryogel. Acceptance of Coatings prior to Insulation Release. Conduct Toolbox topics for PBQ (People based quality). Conduct at work safety observations. Sound understanding of Isometric Drawings, P&ID's, Corrosion Loop Surveys, Line Designation Tables and Mechanical Drawings. Assist with FMR's and RFI's.

Co2 Injection Pipeline Project

Instrumental in reviewing start up documentation and submitting to client for code 1 approval. Attend client meetings with Quality manager regarding coating quality issues. Conduct PQT& PPT for using 3LPP Canusa Patch Repairs and Canusa HBE Field Joint Coatings. Field Joint Preparation and Coating Inspections. Completion of ITR's. Ensuring compliance meets Specification and ITP requirements.

Gorgon Project Barrow Island Upstream

Oversee Gorgon and Janz 34 inch 3LPP pipeline coating of Field Joints with FBE. 3LPP repairs using Canusa HBE Cartridge Grade. HV Holiday Testing, Chloride Testing. Monitoring of Induction Heat Coil Temperatures. Monitor FBE Powder storage conditions and record. Adhesion Testing.Confirm all lowering of strings into trenches has tested bedding according to Specification and that all Sieve sample findings are documented. Inspection of CP Pin Brazing, Temporary Anode beds and Continuity Tests are documented. Witness DCVG testing of buried strings. Conduct sampling of Back Fill Trench Spoil and compaction.

Prepare and submit maintenance plans including time and motion studies as well as budget considerations for approval from Client (BHP-Gemco). Supervise hands on crew of trade staff. Mentor Indiginous Trainees.Ensure compliance with specification requirements.
