After two years as R&D manager for automotive and industrial oils, I additionnaly took in charge in 2013 the R&D of military / aviation lubricants and other specialities based on esters. The managed team included 8 people ( 3 engineers + 5 technicians).Main ranges were special esters, high temperature chain oils, Ecolabel hydraulic fluids, HFDU, aircraft turbine oils, plasticizers, biodegradable esters, esters for gear box, engine oils, compressor cold.This experience gave me a good overview of the relation between ester structure and applications, and this from the mono esters chemistry to the more exotic and complex esters. This chemistry has not still delivered it's full potential to my point of view.www.nyco.fr

Laboratory manager and technical manager with specific expertise in rust prevention for SHELL metal working group. JP Industrie was one of the three SHELL subsidiaries dedicated to metal working, with MACRON in germany, SINOL in Italy, and some offices/labs in Brazil, USA, China and India.7 people to manage, shared between R&D, customer service and blending quality control, in relation with other Shell metal working subsidiaries. Main activity : formulation of a large range of metal working products, including neat oils, water based fluids, deformation, rust preventive and quenching oils for automotive industry and subcontractors. Implementation of boron free and formaldehyde free formulations, new range of bolt and nuts oils and complete range of rust preventives from 3 month to 5 years protection, including prelubes for steel industry.

Based in Barcelona, Spain. R&D metal working fluids, mainly synthetic water miscible fluids for machining and deformation oils. Purpose of the mission : improve products quality and performances without to much cost increase.

Creation and set up of a new laboratory : SYNTHESCO, in association with TTA Lubrifiants.R&D specialities for metal working market, food grade lubricants, vanishing oils, high temperature chain oils, water based gels using fluorinated oil.Focus on high value lubricants for critical applications.
