Pet Food Reviews (https://www.petfoodreviews.com.au) aims to better the health of domestic pets by offering consumers a viewpoint which does not come from a pet food marketing department. As consumers we are often unaware of the truth behind the marketing of pet food products, which often means we trust a brand is safe and healthy for our pets when this may be unwarranted. The purpose of the Pet Food Reviews project is to go back to basics to decide for ourselves what’s best for the pets we love. Is corn good for cats? Is wheat good for dogs? What are the long term consequences from feeding our pets a diet designed primarily for profit, or the health benefits from making better choices?

Utilising the power of common sense in the understanding of nutrition for domestic pets. For example, the consideration whether high-carbohydrate pet foods are appropriate for domestic pets scientifically classified as obligate carnivores.
