Project Lead The Way's (PLTW) Executive Vice President and Chief Programs Officer is responsible for providing the vision and leadership necessary to design and deliver transformative learning experiences for PreK-12 students with the purpose of advancing PLTW towards its North Star goals of student growth, access, and impact. The Chief Programs Officer will lead and continuously improve content and delivery of PLTW’s rigorous and scalable real-world project based curriculum which inspires and empowers students to build and demonstrate in-demand transportable skills important for college & career success. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Chief Programs Officer acts as an executive-level ambassador for PLTW and facilitate a culture of teamwork, collaboration and continuous improvement in pursuit of PLTW’s mission.

David Greer served as the Executive Director of the Oklahoma Innovation Institute (OII), a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation committed to building an innovative economy in the Tulsa region by implementing its mission of “Research to High Impact Jobs”. The Institute fosters collaborative research and development, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) education, entrepreneurship, company creation and retention, life-long learning and creative, future-oriented thinking. These objectives are driven by private sector, government, education and philanthropic partnerships through the following OII initiatives: the Tulsa Research Partners, the Tandy Supercomputing Center, the Tulsa Regional STEM Alliance, the Best Thinking Forum, the BetaBlox Startup Incubator and Accelerator, and the upcoming Community Innovation Fund.

The Institute for Information Security (iSec) at the University of Tulsa is one of the country’s leading institutions for information assurance, critical infrastructure protection, and digital forensics research. The Executive Director is responsible for the development, implementation and supervision of iSec’s mission to produce exceptional graduates and technical discoveries in the information security field. He will also serve as the liaison between iSec and industry, government, academic partnerships and alumni. In addition, his duties will extend to seeking research funding for classified, unclassified, public and private projects.

President and Director of Training for Meketrex Technologies; provide leadership, coordinate both instructor lead and online training initiatives; liaison with leading IT companies, critical infrastructure industries, government agencies and law enforcement.

Co-managed a multimillion-dollar National Science Foundation (NSF) Advanced Technology Education grant with responsibility for overseeing a multi-state consortium of higher education, community college and CareerTech institutions. Performed project management and curriculum development functions creating advanced training course model with transferable credit hours for participating institutions. Reviewed, approved and tracked partner institution budgets. Mentored new partner institutions in the development of Cyber Security Programs. Performed strategic planning functions. • Conducted multiple instructor training workshops in Information Assurance, Secure Electronic Commerce, Network Security, Enterprise Security Management, Digital Forensics, Cyber Crime Investigations, Security Awareness, and Information Security Integration• Built two information assurance and digital forensics mobile laboratories

Coordinated CareerTech’s activities in the Cyber Security Education Consortium (CSEC) with accountability for the creation and support of a state-wide cyber security program, along with information assurance and digital forensics curriculum development. • Designed and implemented information assurance and digital forensics training programs for the Cyber Security Education Consortium (CSEC) • Created a regional train-the-trainer model for information assurance and digital forensics training programs • Technical consultant to CareerTech technology centers and community colleges in information assurance and digital forensics • Designed and built an information assurance and digital forensics mobile laboratory • Member of the CareerTech Technical Advisory board (TAB) • Created a Security Awareness e-learning course designed to meet HIPPA and the State of Oklahoma security policy requirements necessary to train State employees
