I engaged with key OEM Customers for Intel's Networking Division to support issues with the integration of Intel's Network Interface Cards into their platform solutions. I supported custom configurations and feature modifications for customer product and platform differentiation. Some of my Key Accomplishments:● I tracked, drove, and debugged key customer issues with network drivers and firmware making sure there was resolution and timely delivery for key customer projects and hot field issues. Using data analytics I was able to drive the customer backlog down by over 50%.● I developed a customer build and delivery solution, based on my key customers needs that enabled me to reduce the delivery time of software commitments by over 50%.● I ensured that fixes were submitted upstream to the Linux kernel and tracked their inclusion in the upstream kernel and into key enterprise distributions such as RedHat and SUSE Linux.● Worked across functional teams, including Software, Firmware, and Hardware teams to solve system level products and integration issues to release key customer features and fixes on the customer's schedule.

I managed a team of software engineers and customer account engineers in Intel's Networking Division. The charter that I laid out for the team was to engage our OEM customers to ensure that their continuous feature needs were in the development pipeline and to address any major issues with the integration of our networking products into OEM platforms. Some of my Key Accomplishments:● I wrote and tracked OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) for myself and my team and aligned them with department objectives at every quarterly review.● I reviewed and prioritized customer defect backlog and prioritized work on these issues and achieved a zero backlog on the Linux drivers within a year.● I consolidated a siloed customer engagement team, supporting major OEM accounts, into one Customer Engineering and Validation team to better leverage engineering and validation resources. This led to 30% increase in account coverage and customer delivery.● I led my team in the development and release of key driver features for Intel network solutions that were integrated into 3 different Xeon platform releases.● Wrote a CI/CD Playbook as the leader of a workgroup to look at current practices and recommend CI implementation strategies that were developed and adopted into the NIC driver development teams across the organization.● I worked across the organization to plan and write a customer platform validation strategy and define an automation framework to validate and debug key customer features.● I drove Linux kernel upstream submissions for feature work and bug fixes that my team was involved in. I managed a team of software engineers and integration specialists whose main charter was the continuous delivery of custom mobile OS solutions for x86 based smartphone designs to many of the major mobile phone manufacturers and communication carriers.
