While keeping up to date on the latest technical advances in the feature film and television industries is a standard M.O., there is another skill set of equal importance that cannot be taught. That is wielding the socio-political acumen necessary to traipse between all other departments and teams that are amassed on any creative project... A film crew is like an amoeba and it changes on a daily basis, and then completely again with each new project. Keeping a calm and personable demeanor while navigating myriad technical work flows while sufficing the requirements of the talent and other "less technical" onset members and visitors is paramount. All jobs of course have their demands, but keeping these skills balanced under considerable pressure on a lightning fast film set is truly unique and takes decades to master.My current focus has been with "New Media" Series for HBO, AppleTV+, Showtime, Netflix and Amazon. I tailor build On Set Video Engineering Systems used on a variety of current series for these creative entities. These Video Assist systems I build and manage are not only amassing large HD Video and Sound files (every take from every camera throughout the entirety of the series shoot), but also perform temp editing and Visual FX work. Within this realm I also provide both LAN and WAN Streaming services for local and designated clients around the world, for iPads and PC use. I build with QTake and Raptor Quad2 platforms. Currently utilising Moxion for a showrunner in London, UK.I cannot personally run more than one show at a time, so when there is overlap I supervise other operators as well as provide the necessary equipment for those projects that I cannot personally run. I am extremely involved in who that other operator is and verify that that person performs to my standards and provides the same level of professionalism.

Having a background in feature film production, I am now focused on the "New Media" markets of HBO, Amazon, AppleTV and Netflix. My primary task is to engineer all digital video work flow for performance reference on a daily basis throughout the entirety of principal photography on any given project, in any given environment. These duties also include all Live Visual Effects Temping, Reference Playback and Wireless Streaming. In addition I design and fabricate to specific requirements video capture, wireless and data managing systems employed for the duration of the project.
