With a mandate to build NanoLumens an EMEA business, whilst starting with a blank canvass. Certainly a great challenge and it was important to build a solid foundation that could position NL as the leading LED supplier in Europe and The Middle East. Recruiting the highest quality of sales staff as well as technical sales engineering expertise, establishing the UK’s largest specialist LED showroom experience and establishing the Nanolumens brand in a new market place were the key initial challenges and successes. Early strategy implementation was the opening of the European facility in January 2015, creating and building a robust multiple channel partner program across the UK, Europe, UAE, along with securing a strong relationship with the leading Digital media group in The Middle East. These accomplishments were complimented by securing a vital and key strategic relationship with one of the highest profile outdoor UK LED specialist, resulting in an on going co operation beginning to yield what was forecasted to be multiple million pound roll out contracts for outdoor LED for 2016 and beyond.
