My name is David Dabbelt, and I am a fourth-year Finance student at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business. This past summer, I had the opportunity to work for Incline Wealth Advisors. I learned a plethora of different skills regarding wealth management and personal finance—seeing the day-to-day activities and how a wealth management firm is run sparked my interest in this field. Over the last four years, I have shown my leadership skills as a manager of a Sunoco Gas Station. This position taught me how to deal with customers on a regular basis, as well as build relationships with people from many different backgrounds. I also was able to handle the financials of the business by ordering inventory and connecting with different companies about their product. My two years at Ohio State I have been getting involved in various different organizations on campus. I am a recruitment chair for the Alpha Gamma Chapter of Sigma Chi which has given me the ability to show my judge of character. Also, I have been involved in the JDRF team, which raises money for diabetes awareness. Last year me and all of the other volunteers raised over $1500 for the cause. I am interested in any financial position.
