I'm a New Orleans native with tons of NYC experience, but New England has been my home for most of my adult life. My background brings with it a unique melange of style and approach to culture. My love of sales, combined with sophisticated design skills and strong self motivation, resulted in multiple years at Crate & Barrel in the "top seller" status. This including at least eleven years of sales over $800,000 and at least seven years of sales over $1 million. Meanwhile, my years of experience allowed me to be a strong support to management in both training and daily operations.I proudly worked at Crate & Barrel adapting to the tremendous growth and change within my organization. My professional successes have run a gamut of positions: store management, merchandising, personnel management, inventory management, bookkeeping and budgeting, physical plant and, most importantly, sales. My experience in retail furniture sales allowed me to initially hone my design skills. My time in the high-end design and decoration firm of MECA/Marc Edward Charbonnet Associates provided a myriad of experiences. I took on account management, project coordination, and a vital exposure to high end furniture, fabric, and home accessory venues. This time with MECA also helped distill a keen design-sense point of view, adaptable to both modern and classic home decoration. Both my retail and trade positions provided me a wide experience in placing and monitoring purchase orders, and education of gross margin, and bottom line profit/loss.I look forward to a position that allows me to bring and to use my myriad of learned skills from over the years.
