During my time as a pharmacy intern at Walmart pharmacies, I gained valuable experience in a fast-paced community, retail pharmacy setting. Working under the supervision of licensed pharmacists, I was responsible for assisting with prescription processing, patient counseling, and medication therapy management. I also had the opportunity to collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to ensure patients received the best possible care. Additionally, I was involved in inventory management, medication dispensing, patient education initiatives, and community health screening and outreach events. Through my experience at Walmart pharmacies, I developed a deep appreciation for the importance of patient-centered care and the critical role that pharmacists play in improving health outcomes.
