I am an Information Technology and Operations Leader that thrives on the challenge of implementing technological solutions, operational processes and organizational structures to execute the company’s strategy.Over the course of my career I have had a diverse set of experiences and have managed a wide variety of IT and Operational areas including: project management, business analysis, process improvement, customer implementation, client relationship management, computer infrastructure, software development, software testing, governance and strategic planning. These experiences, along with my deep thirst for learning, have equipped me with the ability to tackle and lead others to solve a wide range of business challenges.I have learned that being customer focused can give you and your company the edge over its competitors. I personally gain energy and enthusiasm by getting to meet the company’s customers and to understand their specific needs. Being able to straddle both business and IT gives me the ability to find creative ways to meet my customer’s needs and requests. My flexibility in shifting roles allows me to wear many hats and morph into what helps my company and customers succeed.In addition to tackling business challenges, I enjoy encouraging and watching others grow. I have successfully developed others by creating career paths with clear goals, assembling individual development plans, coaching and creating/presenting training programs.I have also found that giving back to your community can not only enrich your life but provide valuable skills and experience that can be applied to your company and customers. Recently, while performing some volunteer work with a local entrepreneur, I learned about the Business Model Canvas tool. I was then able to use this tool to help analyze some product concepts for my company.
