I have worked in manufacturing for over 30 years in a various positions. I started as an apprentice machinist and worked as a machinist for 10 years while I pursued my degree in engineering. As a machinist, I worked in many industries including aerospace, entertainment, computer, and medical. After I obtained my degree, I worked at the University of California, Davis and took more classes to obtain my Masters degree. After graduating with a masters degree in mechanical engineering, I was hired at Synthes and have been with them for over 20 years. I have worked on projects which includes new products, new processes, sterile packaging, and troubleshooting/improving current processes. I am currently working within the Lean Six Sigma Department on internal and global projects.
