I have been in financial planning since May 1990. Commenced as Financial Planner in Wagga Wagga region for Commonwealth Financial Services and services the South East area of NSW. I was Promoted to Manager Investment and Insurance for Central Coast area in August 1992, leading a team of financial planners and Risk specialists. Remained with CBA on the Central Coast in planning and Management until 2003. Took a position with ANZ in planning on the Central Coast before moving to current employer State Super financial Services Australia in August 2004. I received a promotion to Regional Manager with SSFS in may 2008 and remained in that position until October 2019. Latest role is Advice Practice Consultant with StatePlus and now Aware Super developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures and policies across the advice business and being the point of contact for continuous improvement. After taking a break from employment, I am now continuing in the Contract and Consultant space with particular emphasis on Financial Planning skills and coaching, technical knowledge of superannuation and Defined Benefit Schemes and retirement Planning and project work in process and productivity.I am passionate about financial planning and believe that good advice, support and strategy can improve the lives of our clients and give them peace of mind particularly as they lead up to retirement and then importantly providing support through their retirement years. I am also passionate about adopting and improving practices and processes and productivity and managing change and engaging teams to adopt and adapt to change.
