Working as a Remote Service Engineer, I provide Level 1 support for two systems in Enterprise Informatics. These systems are Intellispace Portal (ISP), an application suite for advanced visualization and image processing of clinical images, and Intellispace Cardiovascular (ISCV), a PACS for Cardiology Informatics. As a stand-alone role within my team, I address incoming incidents related to these systems, solving them or escalating to the Level 2 and Level 3 teams as needed. I work closely with the upgrade and installation teams to assess the success of system deployments and identify areas that need improvement to ensure customer satisfaction with the products.My area of responsibility covers the Nordics, with a dotted line to the UK & Ireland, where I assist the remote service teams as needed. I am also a part of a Level 1 team connecting the UK & Ireland and the Nordics, working to drive the team forward and help the Level 1 engineers grow and develop.Through my work, I have gained valuable international experience, providing service to both the Nordics and the UK & Ireland. I have developed my troubleshooting skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders, while also improving my understanding of HL7, broker engines, enterprise-architectures and solutions. I am dedicated to helping move the system deployment process towards a goal of customer satisfaction.

As a biomedical engineer at Karolinska University Hospital, I provided first-line support for the entire fleet of imaging equipment. I also was part of a newly formed incident management group that dealt with RIS/PACS incidents in the clinical workflow. My work included advanced visualization solutions from various vendors, such as GE, Philips, and Siemens. This role provided me with an in-depth understanding of the clinical and technical workflows of RIS/PACS integrations to the regional HIS, the system architecture of advanced imaging solutions in clinical production, and knowledge of DICOM and HL7. Additionally, I gained experience working with Active Directory and ITIL.

During my master's studies, I had the opportunity to collaborate with SoftPro Medical Solutions on my thesis. The project aimed to improve the Quality Assurance system at the radiology department of Södersjukhuset by integrating SoftPro's proprietary inventory system, Medusa, with the workflow of radiology equipment in connection to service.Through this project, I honed my project management skills and applied a scientific methodology to achieve the following objectives:— Centralizing the storage of documentation generated during checks on radiology equipment in a digital database— Achieving compliance with modern medical industry standards (e.g. ISO 13465) and regulations set by Strålskyddsmyndigheten— Identifying and improving redundancies in the overall workflow for increased efficiency.
