HR Specialist for TxDOT. My primary role is to conduct EEO investigations which includes preparation of investigation plans, preparing interview questions, interviewing of complainant, witnesses and respondent, summarizing findings, creating closeout memos, discussing findings with directors. In addition to investigations, I also create and provide presentations on Employee Conduct, Workplace Violence, Ethics, Disciplinary Actions and other related HR matters. My roles also include providing general HR support to managers and other HR Specialists. Other tasks include reviewing and consulting on disciplinary actions format, content and disciplinary action level and acting as a subject matter expert on disciplinary actions and the Peoplesoft module related to disciplinary actions. I also serve as a Open Records backup for the HR department. As such I receive requests, gather responsive information, perform any redactions necessary and respond to the requestor.
