Muskrat Falls - Phase one of the Lower Churchill Project is referred to as the Muskrat Falls Project. This includes an 824 megawatt hydroelectric generating facility at Muskrat Falls, the Labrador-Island Link that will transmit power from Muskrat Falls to Soldiers Pond on the Avalon Peninsula, and the Maritime Link connecting Newfoundland and Nova Scotia.As the Site LR Manager, assist in the implementation and administration of all the labour relations plans, including specific labour relations standards for the Project and labour Project Agreement• Assist in addressing labour relations matters by working with union and management to resolve grievances at an early stage; coordinating and supporting the grievance process• Educate and advise Contractors and supervisors of the terms and conditions of Project Labour Agreement for the LCP.• Develop and maintain a constructive relationship with Site Manager, Shop Stewards, and Union Leaders.• Appear at grievance and arbitration meetings as required.• Facilitate Employers’ Association meetings as required and act as the LCP Representative.• Facilitate as required meetings on labour productivity or labour productivity initiatives.

Hebron is a $14 Billion dollar project with expected manpower requirements of up to 2500+ personnel. This EPC project featured the replacement of the Smoky Falls GS and the expansion of three other existing hydroelectric GS, Little Long, Harmon and Kipling, expanding Ontario’s hydroelectric capacity by 450 MW. Other works include the rehabilitation of 128 km of access roads, the construction and operation of temporary facilities, including an 800-person camp, office complex and concrete batch plant.Responsible for First Nations employment and training as part of the IBA for the project.Responsible for recruiting, hiring, continuous training and development, performance monitoring and counseling of all project personnel, a total of (300+) staff and (1200+) craft personnel for project to date.To assist in the development and maintenance of good relations with different craft union locals. To implement, manage and monitor jurisdictional assignments as per collective agreements; provide training to staff personnel on syndicated matters; hire, direct and train subordinate human resources counselors and advisors; act as mediator to resolve conflicts; provide employees with all necessary HR information and to manage claims and grievances.

Responsible for all aspects of document control on the waste water project at Grimsby, including shop drawings, minutes of meetings, procurement materials, etc.The Raleigh wind farm was a design-build project - duties and responsibilities included the securing of shop drawings, specifications and all relevant documentation from the electrical subcontractor, including the substation, underground collection and overhead systems, in liaison with the Client. Replaced QA/QC personnel, when on turn-around.

Responsible for several projects’ field office administration/coordination of timely completion of submittals and accurate administrative work, including payroll, A/P, costs, purchasing and expedition. Supervision of a team mandated to invoice the Ear Falls project’s substantial backup during claim period. Management of all jobsite administrators. Reviewed, updated and generated procedures for field office operations. Assisted/worked in purchasing during the transition from GEAC to Ecms. Collaborated to the elaboration of new training procedures. Acted as Interim Purchasing Manager for material procurement and expeditions to all four sites of the Upper Mattagami hydroelectric project. Acted as Health & Safety Coordinator on the Apollo Gold project.

Responsible for all HR/LR activities related to the Voisey’s Bay (Vale Inco) joint venture project, including jurisdictional assignments of work activities, labour relations, multi-level hiring procedures and training requirements, and collaborated/consulted the group on HS&E and ISO matters. Acted as liaison with aboriginal groups for skill evaluations and training opportunities. Business development, including the evaluation of bid proposals and prequalification documentation
