Development Lead

Managed an integrated team to deliver the $AUD 700 million Western Flank sub sea tieback to Goodwyn through feasibility. Managed a team of 12 direct reports and 3 indirect reports Delivered the TIOF (1200M deepwater project, Mauritania, West Africa) Early Production system to feasibility in 6 months, where the project was stopped due to expense of development system and large subsurface uncertainty. I managed a team of 19 direct reports covering Subsurface, Sub sea, Process Engineering, Maritime Engineering & Operations. I was also responsible for subcontracting companies (e.g., Frontier flow assurance group, FMC sub sea group)Managed alignment of skills, QC process and team infrastructure to progress the Field Development Plans for multiple fields in Deepwater Mauritania (TIOF, Teve'T and Banda). The job encompassed about 30 subsurface reports. A key highlight was securing approval and delivering a $US60 million appraisal campaign for the newly discovered TIOF deepwater field. As part of this program we delivered a $5 million appraisal well, cheapest for West Africa.Managed a subsurface team of 15 personnel to deliver the Chinguetti Field Development Plan. We designed, managed and delivered two successful appraisal campaigns including 4 wells acquiring core and carrying out a production test. The field did not perform to expectation. A key learning from the project was to slow down the pace and spend further effort in appraisal due to large remaining uncertainty in the reservoir performance. I managed a budget of $15Million/year.
