As a Student Spokesman I am deployed at various promotion activities for University of Applied Sciences Utrecht. This could be individual counseling with future students (and parents), but also speaking for classrooms of potential future students. I have visited many schools around the country with this work and like helping the future students making the right choice for their education.

During the third year of my education at the HU University of Applied Sciences I got the change to do a internship for 6 months. Via a open application I eventually ended up at the Veiligheidsregio Hollands Midden. A "Veiligheidsregio " is a public organization, where local governments join forces with police, fire squads and medical aid to act effectively in large-scale emergency situations. The Security Region's main task is to improve security for everyone in the greater region. I have conducted two research projects during this Internship. The HU University of Applied Sciences was impressed of my achievements during this internship and rewarded me with two Honours Program Rewards.

During one of the semesters at the HU University of Applied Sciences I got the change to do a half year multi disciplinary project for the City of Utrecht. My multi disciplinary team consisted of 1 Technical Informatica student, 3 Software & Information Engineering students en myself as a Business IT & Management student. The end result has been presented for a board at the HU University of Applied Sciences as well as for a board at the City of Utrecht.

As a Driver Hiker for Easy Way I have brought (new) vehicle's to customers all over the Netherlands. With this job I have gained a lot of driving experience.

Because of my previous years of experience at the Albert Heijn stores I got a promotion when I started working at this Albert Heijn store. I became a Teamleader in the so called "Talent Team". This meant that I got more responsibility's and was in charge of the shifts of the retail employees.

As a part time job I decided to apply for the opening of Mail Deliverer for the company PostNL. During my time working there I was one of the first employees to test the new digital system for delivering mail. This resulted in a more flexible and efficient mail service. It was a great experience for my education to see how ICT changes can make diverse jobs more flexible and efficient.

During my education at the Creative College of Rotterdam I had the chance to do a internship at a company for 6 months. Eventually I applied for a internship at the KLM Engineering & Maintenance department and got accepted. My job there consisted of selecting and implementing a Business Intelligence Tool. Working here was an fantastic experience and it inspired me to study at the university of applied science.
