In 2005, Crowe Dean Consulting Alliance was established with Bill Crowe and continues to be engaged by small and medium-sized enterprises interested in profitably growing their companies. He recently co-authored Conversion – Triggers, Tips & Tools to Grow Business written for entrepreneurs and business builders. During his consumer marketing career, David gained extensive experience with Hudson’s Bay, Simpsons and Sears Canada. David has managed a number of retail stores and held senior regional positions responsible for Ontario stores with 3,800 associates reporting to his operation. As National Manager, he was in charge of the buying and marketing organization of Women’s Wear, Cosmetics and Linens. His knowledge of procurement in Canada, USA, India, Taiwan, China and his contact network are a major added value for many clients. As a contract consultant with the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC), Consulting Division he completed 180+ client mandates. David and his family have also owned and operated companies including a franchise restaurant giving him first-hand experience to understand and connect with entrepreneurs and their families on real issues.His sense of urgency and ‘hands on’ business approach results in immediate and sustainable change for his clients because they receive real answers and measurable results. He has been a Part-time Professor (Business & Human Resources), St. Lawrence College, Kingston, Ontario, 1993 -1996 and Brockville, Ontario 2016 - 2017. In December 2017, he was engaged by St. Lawrence College, Centre for Corporate Learning & Performance Improvement to deliver an Introduction to Entrepreneurship programs.David has been active in several organizations including the Canadian Cancer Society, YW-YMCA, Chamber of Commerce and Kingston General Hospital.
