As Engineering Coordinator I forged a viable team by drawing our customer’s project team, our Chinese Contractor’s design team, as well as their US E&C together to design deliverables for the overall $7.5B power portion of the Jazan Refinery Project. ══ PROFICIENCY ══ Possessing a broad competency in strategic management, with the distinction of driving new project initiatives, designing corporate infrastructures, and contributing to organizational objectives and goals, I immediately identified all participants to establish main players, reporting functions, and all ongoing work as our Chinese Contractor brought in a US E&C to support their team. It was an honor to play such a pivotal role in supervising all engineering deliverables, TBE’s, RFQ’s & Material Requisitions during detail design for $7.5B Power portion of the Jazan Refinery Project. I reviewed all data sites, identified data formats inconsistent with YERP Project Procedures, to minimize amount of rework necessary to allow data from 16 different Contractors, across the World, to merge at completion, conducted interviews, onsite at Contractors’ offices, and with lead engineers overseas. Using my skills I was able to analyze various electrical projects, steering modifications to minimize wastage in design engineering operations, while reducing rejection and realizing operational efficiencies for the organization towards loss management, by following quality standards. Acted as Manager-at-Large within the SAP computer project, which included an integration consisting of 45,000 licenses and budgeted at $500MM which integrated 300 legacy systems.Reviewed and managed service level agreements, developed annual budgets, generated ad hoc reports, and supported all recruiting efforts. Played a lead role in negotiating vendor contracts/terms along with finalizing purchase agreements and maintaining all Sun Microsystems hardware/software. Performed audit function for SAP Project GM for monitoring Accenture consultants, SAP AG engagement, and European SAP Integration team.

Dhahran, Saudi Arabia

Negotiated terms and finalized transfer pricing agreement for $7.8 million per day of refined products from Company joint venture refinery at Yanbu.Formulated strategy to revise $8.4 million per day worth of transfer pricing resulting in a net increase of approximately $100,000 per day to the joint venture at Jubail.Established Company’s position for the Off-take agreement negotiations to lift Company’s $4.2 million per day entitlement at the Jubail joint venture.Negotiated terms to protect Joint Venture’s interests in the sale and buy-back of $900,000 per day of feedstock and return stream products for lube oil facility adjacent to a joint venture refinery.

Responsible for feasibility, funding, design, contract development, material and equipment selection, schedule, cash requirements, and controlling of funds on major capital investment programs in the Riyadh, Ras Tanura, Rabigh, and Jeddah refineries.Managed $37 million worth of capital investment at Riyadh Refinery.Contract staff included 100 Design Engineers reporting through three Project Managers, and 340 site engineers, draftsmen, skilled craftsmen, and laborers reporting through four Site Superintendents.As a refinery design, construction, and maintenance expert, was brought in to manage major projects during critical downtime at various refineries throughout Saudi Arabia.
