Our Village is at a crossroads. There is a small segment that wants to take us back to the dysfunction and stalemate we had two years ago. It was an embarrassing time in our history that cost taxpayers tons of money and hurt our local businesses and families. I stand for moving forward!We broke the stalemate, stopped the bureaucracy, and put our Village residents first. We have brought in numerous businesses of all sizes that provide our residents with good paying jobs. We brought back Mount Pleasant Days to highlight our local businesses and non-profits. Our budgets are now balanced, we are saving more for emergencies, managing our debt levels, and we reduced your property taxes! Government is now more efficient with less red tape. But our job isn’t done. We have achieved a great deal in two years but we need to keep the momentum going. My plan is:- Fix Our Infrastructure - Cut Your Taxes MORE- Make Our Local Government More Efficient. And most importantly: Bring Our Community Together.Although special interests are trying to make people upset and spread lies about Foxconn and our Village, we need to come together as a community and put politics aside. Let’s stop the negativity and focus on positive ideas. My leadership is about results. As your Village President, I will work tirelessly to revitalize and promote Mount Pleasant!
