Founded in 2007, the nonprofit Community Security Service (CSS) proactively protects the people, institutions and events of the American Jewish community. CSS safeguards the community by training volunteers in professional security techniques, providing physical security and raising public awareness about safety issues.CSS is an apolitical, non-denominational 501C(3) organization.

Former Chief Executive at CST (www.cst.org.uk) , a charity that protects British Jews from antisemitism and related threats. CST is recognised by Police and Government as a unique model of best practice and has nearly 100 full and part-time staff based in offices in London, Manchester and Leeds.Led and motivated a team of senior managers ensuring the effectiveness and high performance of the organisation and its ability to meet key objectives.Regularly met with senior government and police to represent the UK Jewish community on matters of antisemitism, security and related terrorist threats.Developed strong and productive working relationships with key stakeholders including senior government and civil servants, local authorities, police, community organisation representatives, donors and CST's incredible 2,500+ volunteers.Overall budgetary responsibility of £8m operating budget. ensuring robust financial controls were in place.Devised and implemented delivery of the "Jewish Community Protective Security Grant" - a unique £14m annual Government Grant providing hundreds of Jewish Schools, synagogues and high profile communal buildings with the funding to employ commercial security guards.Following attacks against other faith communities around the world in places including Mosques in New Zealand and a church in Sri Lanka, created and developed CST's S.A.F.E programme (Security Advice For Everyone) using CST's decades of experience to provide security advice for all faith communities.
