I have been working with mine ventilation fans for the past 10 years. Assembling new and repaired fans (booster fans and main fans) and assembling rotors (cutting blades to proper fan diameter, setting blade pitch). For 7 out of the 10 years, I have been working in the testing chamber correcting fan imbalances and collecting fan data (amperage, resonance zones and sound level of the fan operating at full speed). I’m involved in the commissioning of main fan systems, fresh air and exhaust. I have experience with IRD balancing equipment (model 246), both shop, field and GTI Balancepro (1.01). I am recently certified as a G3 gas technician and currently working towards my G2. I will be attending Himark college in March 2024.
