Over 30 years of experience in the systems integration, engineering, support and administration field of which the last 20 have been in storage engineering, architecting and consulting. Experience includes a wide range of storage vendors to include EMC, HDS and IBM. David is currently the lead Storage Architect at Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) supporting file and block storage world-wide across multiple classifications. Prior to the current assignment, David was Chief Storage Architect on the Joint Service Provider (JSP) - Engineering Services contract where he oversaw all technical aspects of enterprise storage related projects at The Pentagon. Prior to joining DEI, five years were spent as a solutions architect with the IBM Storage Solution Engineering team, supporting sales, research and engineering teams worldwide. Before joining IBM, David spent over six years supporting EMC as the lead Storage Architect on the Pentagon’s Continuity of Operations (COOP) program following the events of 9/11.- Active DoD Top Secret/SCI Clearance (TS/SCI)- Certifications: - CompTIA Storage+ (SNIA) - CompTIA Security+
