This included the game-changing Tamar and Leviathan discoveries offshore Israel, Deep-water GOM, Cyprus and offshore Africa. I also led the technology challenges and development methods of the very successful resource plays in the Niobrara, Marcellus, Eagle Ford and Permian. In 2016 added $1 billion in unconventional asset value by innovative methods in understanding storage and flow. This includes spacing, recovery in-place volumes, technology applications and data acquisition techniques. I managed a staff of production geoscientists (reservoir engineers, geologists, geophysicists and petrophysicists) responsible for worldwide evaluation of development programs and strengthening of the Development Geoscience and Reservoir Engineering capabilities across the company (as part of our technology expert group). Expert in both conventional and unconventional reservoir characterization and development techniques.Developed value added processes from scratch for Appraisal, Development and Reservoir Simulation. Focus was on the value add and not the process piece. Made them flexible, fit for purpose. The appraisal process centered around uncertainty reduction. Added over $1 billion in NPV for Noble's development projects through drilling the "right" appraisal wells reducing uncertainty and laying out risk mitigation aspects that led to shortened sanction and development times. Noble never had a development train wreck in the 10+ greenfield development projects implements during my tenure.
