• Responsible for managing, auditing and ensuring compliance with all federal, state and local regulations, all environmental, health and safety regulations and requirements, and all operational and maintenance processes. Responsible for managing and implementing quality and compliance programs for all facets of the facility’s operations.• Participates in review and evaluation of staff performance related to environmental, health & safety and water operations. Supports the General Manager in hiring and disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies. • Develop, document, provide training and manage the implementation of the Company’s Environmental, Health and Safety Policies. Manage, audit and document the compliance with facility’s Local Organized Arrangement Document , utilization of and execution of the Corrective Action Tracking Form, as well as all site Environmental Plans. • Develop, document, provide training and manage the implementation of the facility’s Operation and Maintenance Plans, Programs and SOPs. Perform audits and document compliance with these plans and programs and provide monthly reports on the same. • Manage the maintenance of work records, preventative maintenance records, and water quality sampling records and prepares various reports utilizing the computerized maintenance management and computerized process control system. Perform audits and document compliance with the same. • Accountable for achieving state, federal and local standards for water and wastewater regulatory requirements as well as all applicable environmental regulations. • Manage and lead the preparation of all permit applications, preparation of regulatory reports, provide monthly EH&S and Compliance reporting, and provide support to the same. Liaison with AWE-MSG staff, and base Environmental Department and other internal and external EH&S staff.

• Develop, schedule, coordinate, implement, and lead environmental, health, and safety initiatives at 99K acre range representing 20 departments across 60 works centers and 2 offsite locations at Point Mugu Naval Airbase and Pillar Point Air Force Station.• Plan and initiate environmental, health, and safety goals and programs, and collaborate with facilities managers to provide recommendations on related issues.• Conduct routine inspections and training to identify and eliminate workplace safety hazards; maintain accurate and updated policies, procedures, and data.• Complete daily walkthroughs to inspect facilities and fire systems; document and photograph findings to compile statistical data on safety activities for submission to Compliance Manager.• Investigate accident, injury, and unsafe conditions to resolve safety hazards and devise corrective action plans.• Administer employee interviews to audit Environmental Health and Safety protocols, policies, and programs.• Generate and review safety reports and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) on chemicals utilized in workplace.• Enforce compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and prominently display Cal/OSHA required safety bulletin to inform employees of safety requirements.

Responsible for a diversified field of mechanical and electrical repairs throughout the production and mining facility including emergency breakdowns, standard repairs and preventative maintenance. Serving on a self-supervised maintenance team, we are responsible for prioritization of work, acquisition of tools and parts, and creating remedies for production equipment malfunctions.
