-Drilled on Discoverer Deep Seas with Chevron in block GC-640 in the Green Canyon Oil field. Completed well PS006 during 2013. -Completing Phase Four of the Nautical Institute Training Program (Dynamic Positioning).-Completed all corporate required On-the-Job training for Barge Master, Barge Supervisor, Chief Mate, Dynamic Positioning Officer and Well Control. -Daily operating experience on Kongsberg 22/12 DP suite as well K-Chief Vessel Management Systems to include but not limited to: vessel offset, heading change, blackout/brownout protocol and ballasting. -Operating experience with CNAV and VERIPOS DGPS systems as well as Kongsberg Hipap Acoustic Positioning Operating System in a SBL and USBL array. -Managed the stability program onboard both drillships and semi-subs; calculated damage stability and maintained the corresponding daily reports for the rig’s Master for the same. -Familiar with managing Variable deck loads, pontoon loads and deck stress limitations so they are within safe operational draft limits. This is to include the loading of fuel, LP and bulk mud, cement, Barite and other bulk products from supply boats. -Competent in the usage and maintenance of various Safety Management System reports entered via computer based systems utilized to ensure constant and effective communication between the rig and the office.

Worldwide

-Serve as Chief Mate, Navigation Officer and watch officer aboard 12 fleet replenishment tankers, combat support ships, ammunition ships, fleet ocean tugs and fast combat support ships while ensuring assigned vessel is maintained within normal safe limits of stability (GM), shear stress and bending moments.-Solely conned vessels in excess of 30,000 Gross Tons in restricted waters and channels throughout the world in varied adverse weather conditions.-Supervised and led a 36 person Deck Department in Fast -Operating Fleet Support Status in the Persian Gulf in support of Operation Enduring Freedom as wells as daily preventative maintenance schedules and cargo handling operations.-Managed the logistics and efficient flow of over 400 multi-faceted Underway Replenishments (UNREPS) encompassing palletized dry stores, munitions and bulk petroleum product delivery to Naval Warships at sea using connected and vertical replenishment methods. Experienced in operating vessels within extremely close proximity of one another.- Safely loaded, discharged and transferred millions of gallons of bulk petroleum fuel valued at a billion dollars on multi-product tank vessels as -Person-In-Charge (PIC) of fueling.

-Directly responsible for the navigational safety of the vessel and loading, storage and discharge of all bulk and liquid cargo. Person in Charge of all Dangerous Liquid operations. -Prepared daily stability reports and comprehensive voyage plans involving tide and current calculations for the Captain to ensure the classified nature of the mission and ship's movements were not compromised.-Experienced in ocean going as well as near coastal and restricted waters towing operations and the effects of tides, currents and weather of each.-Responsible for maintaining and managing a world chart portfolio consisting of over two thousand charts and all related publications including Sailing Directions, Coast Pilots and Tide and Current Tables. Increased experience in pilotage practices and methodology. -Gained experience in conning several vessels in restricted waters and such as the Panama and Suez Canals, and Straits of Malacca as well as experience in docking and undocking vessels in adverse current, tide and weather conditions in various ports within the United States and abroad. -Safely navigated vessels in excess of 60 knots of relative wind through the Straits of Gibraltar traffic separation schemes. -Served as the senior watch officer onboard various platforms where adaptability and absorbing knowledge was based on an accelerated learning curve. -Trained Junior Deck officers in electronic navigational tools, navigation methodology and Navigational Rules of the Road.

Worldwide

-Served as a watch standing Third Mate on USNS Laramie, a Kaiser Class Underway Fleet Replenishment Tanker for the Department of the Navy.-Established fundamentals of navigation while sailing in various conditions on various vessels around the world.-Became intimately familiar with Meteorology in order to use it advantageously when handling vessel in both restricted and unrestricted waterways.-Took advantage of On the Job Training to increase my performance capabilities.
