• Filtered and analyzed genomic data, and reported information to research participants with COVID-19.
• Classified patients’ genetic variants in accordance with ACMG guidelines.
• Utilized genetic databases including Clinvar, gnomAD, UCSC, OMIM, GenCC, and ClinGen to generate comprehensive genetic classification reports.
• Outlined association studies between patient HLA and serology data, and viral lineage of SARS-CoV-2 to be conducted over the course of 2021.

• Provided direct care for a variety of wildlife patients via safe handling and restraint techniques

• Cloned genetic material encoding proteins using PCR techniques and created recombinant plasmids using restriction enzymes and DNA ligase.
• Transformed plasmids containing protein coding genes into both Pichia pastoris yeast and Escherichia coli bacteria using electroporation techniques.
• Created media, buffers, and used microbiology spread plate techniques to grow colonies of single celled organisms.
