I used Vue.js (w/ Nuxt, Vuex, and Veutify) for the frontend, Node.js (w/ Express.js) and Python3 for the backend, MongoDB (w/ Mongoose) for the database, Redis (w/ RedisJSON) for caching and communication between microservices, Nginx to launch a reverse proxy on an open port, Cloudflare for the DNS and more caching, and Stripe to process payments. Everything is running on a VPS from AWS.

• Created a real-time fully automated stock trading platform with machine learning using Python.• Maintained Amazon Web Services where we used distributed cloud computing to process backtests and validate new trading strategies. Here we used Spark, EC2, SQS, S3, and Spot Instances.• Built a multithreaded server managing sockets to ingest and distribute market data for real-time quantitative analysis.• Developed the program that submitted buy/sell orders to IB and managed the account asset constraints while considering consistency, availability, persistence, and security. • Programed environment to use multiple optimization algorithms such as Simulated Annealing and a Genetic Algorithm in order to optimize parameters using multiprocessing.• Programmatically created visuals and analytical reports for daily operations and research. Here I used Matplotlib, Excel, and Tableau.• Profiled codebase to discover bottlenecks and then optimized those methods to compute in the best time and space complexity. I also implemented unit tests to make those critical functions robust while the system evolved.• Lead a team of UNLV graduates introducing them to our systems architecture and pair programming as needed.
